Said EucharistSaid Eucharist 1st Sunday of Advent Very Rev Kenny Rathband Our readings are: Isaiah 64.1-9; 1 Corinthians 1.3-9; Mark 13.24-37 This is our fortnightly COVID-compliant eucharist in the church. It will be a short service (around 35 minutes), and there will be no hymns, no physical contact during the Peace, no offering, no congregational participation in the service, and just the bread given to you as you take a distanced communion. but we hope that you will find blessing from this time of worship as we gather in person. Messy Church ChristmasMessy Church Christmas Gwyneth is hoping to see as many Messy Church children as possible at this Zoom get-together. Covid may have prevented us performing our Nativity play but it can’t stop us meeting on-line! Come and join us for a short time, listen to the Nativity story and maybe even sing a couple of carols. We would love it if you could dress up as one of the people or animals in the story, or make something from the story to show us. You’ll have time to put the turkey in the oven and have breakfast before the service, and open those presents or just relax before lunch afterwards … so do make time to put at the centre of your morning what Christmas is all about, the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
