This four-week course, at the Parish Church, runs for four Mondays at 7.30pm. It started on 27 November and will finish on 18 December. The group is using the book “Heralding the coming King”, which has daily reflections under the themes ‘Prepare the Way’; ‘Draw near to Jesus’; ‘Seek him first’; ‘Who will you live for’.

Everyone is welcome to come along to any of the sessions.  If you cannot join in at the Parish Church, but would like a copy of the book (price £4.99) for your own use during Advent, please speak to Alan Taylor.

Nativity Christmas Concert

This annual event will be held in Rosyth Parish Church on Tuesday 5 December at 7.00pm. Christmas Songs will be sung by the choirs from the four Rosyth Primary Schools accompanied by Rosyth Concert Band.

The Christmas Lights will be switched on after the concert, followed by mince pies, juice, tea and coffee in the Hall.

Ticket-only event, with tickets price £1 available from the schools and Rosyth churches. Doors open from 6.30pm.

We are invited to an Epiphany treat at Dunfermline Abbey — ‘The Road to Bethlehem’ with Frances McCafferty and Matthew Beetschen. This is a programme of seasonal music and recitations relating to the entire Christmas journey, but with a lot of Epiphany music. The programme will last for about 65 minutes, with mince pies and mulled wine (or non-alcoholic alternatives) after the concert included in the ticket price. Tickets are £10, and will be available during December at the Abbey every Sunday, at both Royal Marine Band concerts (13/14 December), and at Sew Yarn Crafty!, 61 High Street, Dunfermline.
