In the light of the recommendations of the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Methodist Church in Britain there will be no meetings run by either of our churches from Wednesday 18 March until further notice. Regrettably this includes services of worship. Watch our Home Page for further information.
Meetings for the youth organisations meeting at the church have also been cancelled, and there will be no meetings at all on our premises after Thursday 19 March.
Click on the calendar entry for extra details, if these are available.
Unless otherwise noted, all the events shown will be held at Rosyth Methodist Church. You can get directions at this link.
This calendar is mostly for our regular worship and church-focused meetings, plus special meetings of other groups and ecumenical events. However, as explained at this link, our building is in use throughout the week by other groups, and their regular meetings have not been listed here, to make the calendar less cluttered.

Third Sunday in Lent
Very Rev Kenny Rathband
During Lent we have an alternative service booklet similar to the one devised by Michael Paterson in 2018. We will all sing the Nigel Johnson Kyrie – Sanctus/Benedictus – Agnus Dei settings and the Rimsky-Korsakov Lord’s Prayer, and the lectionary psalms will be read responsively by the congregation in place of a gradual hymn.
Our readings are: Exodus 17.1–7; Psalm 95; Romans 5.1–11;
Stewarding and coffee by Team C

Rev Dr Helen Jenkins

Sunday@Six - Embracing Lament in Lent
15 March 2020 –
Sunday@Six: We are delighted that our worship at 6pm ‘Embracing Lament in Lent’will be jointly led by Julia Reid, our Methodist Probationer Minister and the Rev Michael Paterson a service in which they will help us prepare ourselves for God’s solutions. Using some of the lamenting psalms, we will spend time giving over to God our unanswered prayers, our frustrations, our regrets and our physical, emotional, psychological pain, leaving them with Him, and preparing ourselves for his healing love.
Refreshments will be served after the service.
