This is the latest in our 2021 series of fortnightly COVID-compliant eucharist services in the church. It will be a short service (around 40 minutes), and there will be no hymns, no physical contact during the Peace, and just the bread given to you as you take a socially-distanced communion. but we hope that you will find blessing from this time of worship as we gather in person.

Please note that, for the time being, as we work through the practicalities of worshipping together in a COVID-secure way, we’re asking everyone who intends to attend worship to contact Sandra Young beforehand.

Bible Study on Hebrews

This is the second in a series of studies that takes us through the Book of Hebrews. This week our study of Hebrews 3:1–4:13 has the title “Jesus Christ is Greater than Faith’s Founders”. Our study will be facilitated by Rev Eddie Sykes, who will be providing study notes before the session.

Future studies are planned for a number of Thursdays at 10.30am between 1 July and 7 October. The dates and topics may be found in this post.

This Zoom meeting will have a time of sharing as we gather, and will finish at about 11:40am. To take part, please email Eddie at minister@nullrosythmethodist.org.uk for an access code.

The Group is currently looking at the Assembly report on the Confession of Faith and other Confessions and will look at the 1647 document and the biblical texts used. The group find it  interesting reading the verses from the Bible which were looked at for the Westminster Confession of Faith.

St Andrews West Area Council (Zoom)

Bishop Ian has suggested the possibility of an Area Council Gathering with a similar format as the Diocesan Gatherings in late October of or November this year.

There will be an Area Council discussion on 23rd June at 7.30pm via Zoom to try to find a date for the event and also to start planning a venue and workshops etc.

All are welcome.
