Said EucharistSaid Eucharist Easter 4 (Good Shepherd Sunday) Rev Dr Michael Paterson Our readings are: Acts 4.5–12; 1 John 3.16–24; John 10.11–18 This is the third in our 2021 series of fortnightly COVID-compliant eucharist services in the church. It will be a short service (around 40 minutes), and there will be no hymns, no physical contact during the Peace, and just the bread given to you as you take a socially-distanced communion. but we hope that you will find blessing from this time of worship as we gather in person. Due to current Covid restrictions the way the bread and cup will be served will be very different to the way we are used to. For example: the elements will be brought to you in your seats so there is the minimal amount of movement in the worship area. The process will be explained more fully in the service. Bible Study on HebrewsBible Study on Hebrews Our new series of studies takes us through the Book of Hebrews. Rev Eddie Sykes will facilitate our studies together and will be providing study notes before each session. Future studies are planned for a number of Thursdays at 10.30am between 10 June and 7 October. The dates and topics may be found in this post.
