City of Edinburgh Methodist Church 25 Niciolson Square Edinburgh, EH8 9BX RSCM Scottish Voices sing Evensong - CANCELLEDRSCM Scottish Voices sing Evensong - CANCELLED RSCM Scottish Voices The choir will sing Choral Evensong in Dunfermline Abbey on at 4pm - musical director Frikki Walker, organist Matthew Beetschen (Director of Music, Dunfermline Abbey). RSCM Scottish Voices is an adult choir that aims to draw together some of the most accomplished and experienced church musicians across Scotland (primarily) to perform approximately six times a year in a variety of venues around the country. The Musical Director is Frikki Walker, the Director of Music at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow and Associate of the RSCM (ARSCM) in recognition of his work in music and liturgy in Scotland. From the Choir’s Facebook page: Regrettably, in light of the current COVID-19 situation, we have decided to cancel this outing. The health of our choir, the Dunfermline Abbey ministry and music team, and our congregation is paramount. Our thanks go out to the support of Rev MaryAnn Rennie, Matthew Beetschen and the Dunfermline Abbey Kirk Session who so willingly welcomed our request - hopefully we will return in the not too distant future. Our next outing will be hopefully in May at Hexham Abbey. Dunfermline Abbey Dunfermline, KY12 7PE |
